The only part I couldn't agree with is the nano is much easier to carry around than the Axim for the same storage capacity. Its not a lot bigger than an Axim battery and I even put it in my jean/shirt pocket. You need at least a coat/cargo pants pocket to hold a 60GB ipod. I do not need all that storage of music for gym and jogging; physical dimension and weight are more important to me.

Of course, iPod nano is much smaller, but the thing is that when you're out of the house 14 hours or so... hours which include public transportation, school, work, in between chill time, study time AND the gym... having the 60 gig iPod video makes total sense. Especially when you are using a laptop and would rather have a 60 gig iPod rather than taking up all the laptop's hdd space OR have a gazillion CDs in disarray with all your music.
And the size isn't so bad when you have a bag with you at all times other than at the gym... and you use the sports case at the gym.
As said many times, when it comes to gadgets, what your needs are is the MOST important. I don't think all people will ever agree on the same thing. :)
