I am a Axim x51v new user. How can I check the status and performance of Integrated Intel® 2700G multimedia accelerator in my x51v. I can't see any information in the system->about screen.

Check the stats? What information are you looking to find out? There really isn't anything (at least not on the X50v) showing info on the chip. (not that I'm aware of.)

You could download TCPMP (formerly beta player) and do a benchmark with a video file...

Just run a 2700g-optimized game and compare it to the non-accelerated version to see what it is capable of. There're several games out there that have both versions; for example, Chopper Fight 1.1f, Jackpot Casino 1.01, Virtual Pool Mobile etc. See http://www.pocketpcmag.com/blogs/ind...3&p=661&more=1 for a complete roundup.

Or, just compare it to the Nintendo DS - you'll be blasted away, I think ;) The 2700g is VERY good, even when compared to the Nintendo DS.

Too bad there aren't as many games for the x50v, x51v's as there are availible for the DS. We need a game maker that specilizes in gamps just for these two PPC series, and future generations of ax's.
