Windows Media Player 10 and streaming audio problem
I have the XV51 with WM5 and I've recently tried listening to some streaming WMA files from talk radio over the internet. Apparently these broadcasts are in segments (between commercials) but appear as one link and when Windows Media Player reaches the end of the first segment it will repeat the segment. However, if I click on the advance button in WMP it will advance to the next segment. When I play these same WMA streams on my laptop, media player moves to each next segment without repeating. Has anyone else heard of or has experienced this problem?

It's not on repeat.
I've checked all the options I can find in WMP.

I didn't really want to mention the station because I didn't want politics to cloud the issue. I'm trying to stream the Rush Limbaugh shows from the archives. The whole show not the one hour segments. Have to be a member though.

This site is too good to turn me off.

We have a live link here somewhere.. But you have to adjust timezones. ;)

If you sign up at his site you could probably download the archive clips to a memory card and play them anytime.

Problem fixed!
When I upgraded the ROM from A06 to A12 it corrected this streaming audio problem.

Also, try TCPMP. Its streaming support is, uh, phenomenal. I can play the web radio stream at 105% speed, and eventually it catches up and even overtakes the over-the-air radio broadcast :)
