Bluetooth internet connection

Hello, I know this has been addressed but I still need some help.
I have a x51v and a samsung A920 phone using sprint service. I want to connect to the internet via bluetooth. I have it to where they recognize each other and when I connect to the internet via the phone everything works fine. But when i try to connect with the pda it starts "dialing" #777 even though I have the "use as modem" option off. It will let me connect for about 3 seconds then kicks me off.
Other forums told me I can do this w/o paying anything extra.

Is there a way to connect to the internet through the phone and then just use the pda to access the data? I mean what is the difference if the pda or the phone is doing the surfing other than surfing with a phone sucks? Is this a sprint being stingy problem or a bluetooth problem ( these are my first bt devices so im a newbie w/ bt)?
Any suggestions would be helpful and as always Thanks in advance!!!!

Yeah, I believe their right. When the phone connects to the internet through sprint's little java app, its connection to a local tower with an internet connection. When you try to dial to connect, the signal has to be routed from the tower to an ISP, then connect, then back....Sprint gets it practicly free. Dialing out costs them money, and in return will cost you $...
