Hello Axim Site, I am planning on buying the Dell Axim™ X51-520 MHz Handheld from Dell Europe for £219.
Ive been looking for a nice PDA for a while now, I was interested in the HP iPAQ rx1950 but after looking into it I thought that that was not the best use of my money.
I then stumbled on the Axim X51 while looking through Cnet.com. Which is how I was linked to here with the fix for the WSOD bug.
There seem to be a few glitches in the X51 but there seem to be a load of fixes for them, which is more that I can say for the iPAQ's.
As this is only £45 more than I was planning on spending on a PDA, I would rather spend that and get quality then not spend it and have a crap piece of hardware in my hands.
Would you recommend that I buy the Axim X51 as a good, value for money device that would give good usage?
I can see potential for expantion with the SD slot for memory and the CF for some nice things.
Anyway, any comments would be greatly appreciated,
Thanks in advance,
~Matthews255
EDIT: Ive been going with this review as my base,
