Icons slow loading?

Hi,

I have the default windows theme applied with my x50v running 2003se. In the program launcher (Start -> Programs) the large icons seem to be sometimes slow in displaying. Doesn't happen all the time.

Any reason for this?

I seem to remember some tweak for icon memory or something, but can't for the life of me find the post!

Yes, it's only at the first Start menu opening that they are loaded. There're several ways of fighting this issue. See for example http://www.pocketpcthoughts.com/foru...ic.php?t=46438

Thanks for the explanation. However, this doesn't just happen after a soft reset. It sometimes happens just after switching on.
