Axim X51v turning off randomly

My Axim has been turning off randomly. I have the active sync weak applied. When it powers off there is no white screen and when I turn it back on there are no error messages. Also when it turns off it does not save any recent changes I made to my system (for example mapping buttons).

The only other thing that I can think of is that I have the 3300mAh Mugen extended battery and that it is somehow causing the problem. (yes I tried using the 2200mAh battery and I get the same problem, although less frequently).

*Edit* I sent away for a replacement Axim because of this problem and it seems now that the problem was the 3300mAh Mugen extended battery. I am not sure why I had the problem with the 2200mAh battery in my old Axim. Perhaps the 3300mAh damaged the battery connectors? Has anyone else experienced power issues using the 3300mAh Mugen extended battery?
