I recently noticed my system time on the Axim was not up to the right time after Daylight Savings came and went. I updated the time manually, but now whenever I sync with ActiveSync on my PC, the clock on the Axim reverts to the old time! I watch it happen as it syncs.
Anyone know how to fix this issue?

When my Axim syncs, its time is set to that of the computer. Check your computer's time. Usually computers need rebooted after daylight savings time. Also, double check your Regional Settings on your Axim.

Sorry, that's not the problem. I forgot to add that info in my initial post that my PC DOES have the correct system time so I am stumped!
I reboot my PC every day and my Axim regional settings offer no help that I see.
Thanks for trying... Any other ideas people ??

In the past, this happened to some users that didn't have the 'automatically update for DST' checked on their PC.
It's actually the Clock settings that you need to check. Make sure both it and your PC are set to the same time zone (presumably GMT-6 Central US since you are in Alabama).

This all seems in order already as well. Any other ideas?

Those are the only things I've ever heard of that cause this. You can always resort to unchecking the time/date synchronization (in AS on the PC, Tools, Options..., Settings...) but your PPC's clock will probably have the wrong time after a while.

Alright the solution was the Central US timezone correction. For some reason it was on a central zone, but not the US central zone. Thanks for the help!
=)

I use vxUtil (free) to sync my x3i to a NIST time-server.
Cool :) I've used vxUtil for 3 or 4 years but never noticed the time feature. Still, it's more convenient to let ActiveSync do the adjustment since my PC already gets the time from NIST.
Stormloader, I’m glad you got it sorted out (and thanks for posting. It’s good to know the same solutions are still working).
