Is there software or a way to view my live feed from my Linksys wvc11b web cam on my X50v? I monitor my home while away with my laptop, but have yet to figure out how to view with the X50v. Thanks all for replying?
Unfortunately, there's no easy way. I know I started a thread on this quite a few months ago. Since the Linksys camera uses an ActiveX MPEG4 plugin, PDAs and Mozilla based browsers can't seem to view it.
What I wound up doing, which is a little extreme, is keep a computer on, on the network. Then I use Terminal Services Client to access it over a WiFi connection. Once connected to the computer, you can open up a "real" IE browser window and call up the camera feed. The video is significantly jerky, but useable. I don't know if the audio passes properly through to the Axim, as I never tested that.
In my situation the camera was at work, and the computer I had on was at home. I got an e-mail to my cell phone indicating motion detected (built into the Linksys camera).
I was at a friend's house with WiFi, so I pulled out my Axim X50v and actually used a VPN connection to my home system, and then connected via Terminal Services Client. Once connected to my home computer, I loaded up IE, and put in the address of the camera at work (which was set up with a dyndns.org address). I was greeted with a live feed of a rat messing with a jar of peanut butter on top of a refrigerator.

there should be a way for you to view your camera's feed. does the camera stream video out in athe .WMV format? if you really want to see your camera from your ax then you could get an nslu2 install unslug on it and connect a webcam. dont know if it will work but its a thought.
