The push will still work, it just isn't quite the same as having "cellular" radio connectivity. If you work in a building with wifi and leave your PDA on all the time, you would get the messages pushed to you. Granted, this is more of a niche thing at the moment but it has its merits.

Exactly, I don't want to pay for $ 120.00 CAD for push email with voice service a la Blackberry. I don't want to give anymore of my money to Robers (Rogers), Smell Us(Telus) or Bell Crossabilité (Bell Canada)
Wifi and Bluetooth are fine with me. Anyways if you live downtown Philly, San Fran, Toronto and other in the future you will have full Wifi converge. People won't care anymore about CDMA and GPRS.
