Ok, yes they have Bluetooth and WiFi. I used the term "radios" generically and should have specifically referred only to GSM or GPRS.
To me, push email as the way Microsoft is advertising it, is similair to the service that RIM is offering with the Blackberry devices. If my device is on, whether I am in my car, office, on vacation in Florida the email gets delivered to the device without user interaction.
Push email is not having to pull over to the side of the road, find an open Wifi connection, connect, and then wait for the email to be pushed.
Neither is it, connecting my Axim to my phone via dial up networking and then wait for the email to be pushed.
The only networks that have that kind of coverage and range is those offered by cell phone carriers. Using GSM, GPRS or even CDMA, email can be pushed to a device anyhwere on the network.
Maybe I should start a thread, "What does push email mean to you?".
