You can try BTCrawler as well. Non-java based:

There was news on the Brighthand web site of a new ROM release coming from Dell and M$ that will fix the issues of blue tooth head phones and the CF card issue.

It's good to have this on your axim anyways as from time to time you might need programs that require it
Cheers dude ..... i'll install it and post the response

Thanks for being so cooperative MrGimper, alot of us have been waiting for a rom update for awhile now. My only interest in the new rom is the possibility of wireless headphones so I've got my fingers crossed.

I bet all you doubters would rather believe it's a fake than believe the most likely truth: the A08 has no user-visible or significant changes, as with the many previous roms. When it doubt, doubt dell first! :)

That java run time is a little old,

let's try a newer one.

click on download the trial and install that one. It should work better

thanks

Does your name mean "GNU Image Manipulation Program" AKA "GIMP".
Example "Mr.-GIMP-er"

I'm suprised Dell did not release A08 to the general public on their website.

Also, look at the urban definition for "gimper"

http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=gimper

1. gimper: A poser. One who tries to hard to be what he is not.
Similar to a gaper, but used in a more broad sense.

the screen shop is an OBVIOUS fake.. (did anyone else catch the letters cut off on the phony text print on the diagonal? on the second set just beneath the system info.). This is fake.. i will however be getting a second axim via fed ex TODAY. It was shipped on the 12th (overnighted), so the rom should be recent (wouldn't you think). I'll post what i find with ACTUAL screenshots from my digital camera or even a video to prove. I'll only post if it's a A08 device. My current device is only an A06 and i got it two days ago from dell.

phony text print on diagonal ? .... thats coz its trial software.
And yes, I did cut some text off the screenshot ... I dont want people to see my UUID.....

I really hope your new one has A08 ... but there is prob plenty of existing stock that has old ROMs....

That was an ACTUAL screenshot....... step outside and have a word with yourself eh!
