Word Mobile vs. Pocket Word?
I have been a long time Palm user and this forum has been a great help in "convincing" me to finally upgrade. I think I am going to go with the the Axim X51 with Windows Mobile 5. Is the Word Mobile and Excel Mobile that is included with Windows Mobile 5 essentially the same as Pocket Word and Pocket Excel (i.e. same program, just newer versions??). Thanks.

Yes, that's correct. Word/Excel Mobile (also Powerpoint) is used in WM5.

Some advantages of Excel/Word Mobile includes:
Support for table, images, graph
better support for desktop format
etc...

basically word mobile & excel mobile will let you save your files in the same format as their desktop counterpart, something that pocket word & excel can't do

In WM5, the Pocket -> Mobile transfer affects both Pocket Office (Office Mobile) apps and also Pocket Internet Explorer (now, Internet Explorer Mobile).
