syncing new X51v and older V35?

So I just puchased a X51v online today for $289. I love my V35 and will transition all of my programs, files, etc

I imagine I will keep the V35 around to play music in one of the cars. Will I be able to maintain the sync cable and active sync v 3.7.1 for the V35. Or will I need to uninstall the active sync program for the V35 before transitioning to the X51v?

Anything I should be aware of or will it be very similar to setting up the V35 on my home and work computers?

By V35, are you talking about the Viewsonic? If you want to sync both, you will need to upgrade to ActiveSync 4.1 (included in your Dell CD) since WM5 (on your X51v) will only work with ActiveSync 4.x. You can should be able to sync both devices, but not simultaneously.

good to know!!! Thanks for the info. I was afraid that maybe WM5 requiered a whole new active sync that was not compatible. I also wasn't sure if you could sync multipcle PPC's on one computer.

This will definitely make the transition smoother I hope!
