Open Office Documents on the Ax

I need to open spreadsheets saved in the Open Office default format (ods) on my X50V. What program will do this? Thanks.

From the look of it, there aren't many desktop applications that support Open Office Documents:

I hesitate to say there is nothing out there because someone always proves me wrong, but nothing obvious to me.

I was going to suggest planmaker, but I doubt it. (The thread above suggests the desktop version of softmaker's word process supports the WP version of Open Documents, but nothing mentioned about spreadsheets).

Good Luck . . .

Ya you'll need to wait for a new version of PlanMaker. Textmaker is the only one supporting it currently.

I never use Word. As a writer, it's just buggy crap. But the Axim Word ap is picky about formats. I ended up using *.rtf finally.

I can easily restore formatting from my template in Framemaker on the PC.

Something similar may work for you even though you don't want to change formats.

Thanks. Looks like I'll be waiting for Planmaker. Yet another example of us having to pay the aftermarket to do what Microsoft should have done in the first place.
