Embedded Visual Basic in WM5

G'Day Everyone,

Wondering whether anyone has managed to get the WM2003 version of Visual Basic to install on WM5? I'm trying to run Max Tillberg's 'A Viking Saga' and it says that I require the embedded VB from Microsoft. Went and tried looking for a WM5 version to no avail. Tried installing the WM2003 version but it wouldn't let me (kept saying that it couldn't be installed for some reason - both to internal memory and to an SD card).

Anybody have a suggestion?

I used the version suitable for WM2003. I downloaded the cab file and put it on my SD card and ran the installation from there. There are glitches on the graphics with portion of the screen not showing properly at times but otherwise it ran fine on my X51v.

Thanks for replying. At least I now know that it can be installed. Just curious, are you using A06?

Weird,

I tried running Viking Saga again and for some reason it worked! This was after the embedded VB told me twice that the install had failed. Oh well, normal procedure for Microsoft products I guess....

Got it working (not sure how though as the install on VB had failed twice).....
