Alright, I got it to at least sync again finally, but I don't know what to do about this registry thing. It's crippling and won't let me set up my V710 with this PPC *EVER* if it isn't fixed :(.

Alright, I went so far as to reflash A06 from Dell's site, and a hard reset... FRESH start off the bat, installed the registry editor, and it still isn't working! Is this some sort of user error here?

If I were you I'd try a different reg editor. I have had great luck with Resco Explorer and Reg Editor (two programs that come together. It seems in all your messages your using something called PHM. Perhaps it is the problem. Try another.
That is really a weird problem. You might check if your Reg file is getting set to read-only somehow. Just use a explorer type program and check the attributes. Would be strange if it were set that way. There has to be a solution!

What is the registry file (ie location/name)? I want to check that ;). I've been using PHMRegEdit and TRE to try and edit. The weird thing is they worked fine for awhile, then suddenly stopped.
