Applications crash resuming from standby

Any application installed on my SD card crashes when I come out of standby mode. To elaborate, I launch an application like Pocket Informant, leave the application running and power off/standby. When I turn the pda (axim x51v) back on, clicking anywhere in the application kills it. This only happens to applications that are installed on my SD card (if I reinstall Pocket Informant to built in storage, everything is ok). On a related note, applications installed to SD have missing icons in the Start Menu. (I already did a hard reset without success)

Any ideas?

Install into the BIS ... problem solved :)

The only thing I can think is that the program is trying to load before the SD card becomes accessible... and since it can't access the program it causes the app to crash.

I have no idea how you would fix that
