Pocket MSN sign in problem

Hey guys, do you have trouble signing in using pocket msn? It almost *immediately* shows "Temporary conditions currently prevent connecting to the Pocket MSN service" when i try to sign in. Pocket IE and other applications work fine, and I have a valid IP with all the wireless security turned off.

After some experimenting with my wireless network, if I set the network to connect to "Work", Pocket IE would work properly, but Pocket MSN wouldn't connect. If I set it to connect to "The Internet", Pocket MSN would work but Pocket IE would not work. Weird? Seems like both of the applications are not using a "unified" connection. BTW, I'm connecting through a local proxy.

Can anyone lend some help? Thanks!

Try to not use the local proxy and then set it to work
I had this same problem before when I switched from my work network to my home network and my work network would leave a proxy in place even though I'm at my home network

Thanks TFJetfire. But I'm living in campus so I have no choice but to use the proxy

If I set the network to connect to "Work", Pocket IE would work properly, but Pocket MSN wouldn't connect. I think Pocket MSN is not using the proxy setting, thats why it couldnt connect.
If I set it to connect to "The Internet", Pocket MSN would work but Pocket IE would not work. In this case, I think Pocket IE is not using the proxy setting.

Weird? VERY! Someone please help!

That all network connectivity scheme is screwed up under WM.
They probably tried to reinvent a wheel or something ....
With PalmOS based PDA I never have so many connection problems and
connecting to WiFi point is much faster.

Hmm... I had a Palm Zire 72 and its much snappier than this 51v. But the fact that it couldn't truly multitask really gave it a thumbs down. I can say that after a week of using this 51v, WM5 is a rushed-out product and hasnt been stringently tested before being released. and now all of us are eating sour grapes

Well now, I cant seem to get both PIE and Pocket MSN to work harmoniously. Anyone has solution for this?
