registry....

on a windows box i had once i got this program that monitored installs and would get the registry changes everytime you installed a new program. That way you could remove the junk it put in your registry. After many years of experience with windows i would find that i would have to reinstall windows after so much use ( not anymore i switched to linux. ) but now i have a pocket pc. I am wondering is there a similar program that watches your registry for you for ppc? What are the best registry tools out there?

I think the makers of sktools do a registry change tracker.

and resco explorer is the best registry editor i've used

thanks for the reply, is that a picture of david bowie? do you know where i can find more information about using wm5 myself so im not constantly asking questions in here. Right now im wondering about memory usage. I found recently that when running SJphone that i cannot use my transcriber. I still see 24.15 megs free in the settings but the transcriber will not do it's magic. Maybe its SJphone or maybe the transcriber requires alot of memory?

You might want to have a look in the wm5 forums...

The search button is always useful too. After a brief journey into wm5 with my x50v i'm back in wm2003se land.. But that's another story.

And We like questions btw ;)

Anyway the pic is Bowie in his Ziggy persona :)

The (commercial) SKTracker is by far the best tool for this.

Also, if you don't mind manual registry change tracking using free tools, read this article.
