I am never charged to 100%, is this normal?

Title says it all. I have a X50v and no matter how long it remains charging once I remove it, the battery monitor (using WisBar Advance 2.5) reads either 99% or 98% charged. Is this normal?

You either have a bad battery or the battery monitor is screwing things up.

Try checking your battery charge in the battery level screen. Maybe Wisbar is reading your battery charge wrongly.

My X30 shows 98% after an all night charge but if I put it back on charge it will reach 100% in a few minutes. If your battery seems to be ok other than this I wouldn't worry about it.

You may want to do a complete discharge (0%) cycle. After long periods of use, Li-ion becomes "out of sync" with the battery meter. I doubt this is the correct term and I can't explain it, but laptop batteries have a similar problem after prolonged use. A cycle would "reset" or "sync" with the battery level (at least pertaining to laptops, so I'm assuming the same due to Li-ion properties).

I sometimes have that issue. If you do a soft reset after a full charge, it might show you at 100%
