Very insane...EVERY SINGLE time I turn on the X51v
Please help !
Did you remove the EXE file from there? Then, also make sure you remove \Windows\Startup\odClientCeAutoLaunchSmart.exe (use a built-in File Explorer to do it - for example, File Explorer) and reset your device.
I just removed that item from startup...Now rebooting
We will see what that does...Sick of that error
When I go to the Directory Windws/programs/Funk/...
Everything is there - I never touched it...
Have you soft reset the PPC? If yes the funk software is the Odissey Client that can be use to connect to the internet. It should not start on its own unless you trigger this frist and deleted the program file. What PPC model are you using?

X51v
I have soft reset a BILLION times (no really - you know it )
I hate that. Let me test it right now so you understand:
1. I am calling 407.646.3131 for the TIME RIGHT NOW:
Time: 3:51 PM (EST)
2. Power on axim
3. pressed Start bar..
Waiting
Still Waiting
ERROR
Cannot Execute\Program Files\Funk Software...
Time
3:54 PM EST
it took two whole minutes....That is EVERYTIME I turn on or OFF !!!
up until this post, I'd thought I followed and understood the problem you are facing ... but after the above post ... you have completely lost me as what you are trying to do
tell us what happen if you were to go directly there and try to run the client directly ??
yeah - at this point...it might as well be a palm. It is useless to me.
Every single time I turn it on, I get the errors above. It takes about 2 minutes to clear the errors away before I can use the Dell AXIM X51v
I think i had the same problem. First I did the Fake server trick to stop the axim from trying to sync. Search forums for the "how to do this".
But do this first,
Start...settings...connections...odessy client...settings (bottom left corner)...disable odyssey
it will say remove card ( ignore this and press the oks)
turn off your wireless connection before going into standby or powering down
and test the axim.
What is actually happening is a few things:
1. when the wireless is on and you put axim in standby, outlook will check for mail automactically and try and use the odyssey client (if its on) to enable the internet connection but the system is in standby and you get a conflict, hence the error.
Go into the MAIL settings and disable the checking of mail every 15 minutes and set it to manual
2. Search the forums for the Fake server trick and DO IT. It will help
3. Turn off wireless before going to standby (im trying to find a way of going to standby with out disabling wireless, which includes the bluetooth but not have found one with out doing step 1 & 2)
If i think of more, I will post
