you need to run these 2 files
Tor_A2DP_cert.cab
Tornado_A2DP.cab
though these files are for HTC Tornado-based devices (T-Mobile US SDA, Qtek 8300, Imate SP5M), but I also read the reports that other HTC devices running WM5 works (T-Mobile MDA, Dopod 818pro, Qtek S200.....)
since X51(v) is also HTC device, then I give a try
OH MY GOODNESS, IT WORKS!!!!!
at least on my X51v!!!!!
after running these 2 files, you need to either soft reset or full power off
then go to bluetooth>devices>new partnership
make sure your bt stereo client is ready to pair
after that, you should see "Wireless Stereo", check it
then tap and hold the client>set as Wireless Stereo
BAM!!!!! YOU GOT IT:approve:

Well done Mingkee. It really worked on my X51V.
Congratulations!!!
Well done!!!

A2dp Support For Axim X51!!!!
Hi Mingkee
I am using the Motorola HT820 headset and the PocketMusic as a player. No whine at all.
What's your player?

Works with my iTech S35.
Playing music through TCPMP results in skipping every 30 seconds or so.
Playing through GSPlayer is perfect.
Tried my iCombi AH10 and even pairs with it, but didn't initially play. Deleted the device and tried again. Did this three times. Third time is the charm!
This...
is...
so...
cool!
Thank you for sharing this with us.

This works on my PPC 6700
Also works on my axim x50v. I can see this as they are both manufactured by HTC>

well bad news guys.
I broke this thread for PPC 6700 support over at www.ppc6700.com, however there are some requirements.
To answer the above. My understanding is that you have to have the AKU2.0+ update for this to work. Hence why it will not work on the XV6700. Verizon plans to release 1-2 months. It does however work on the sprint version due to the rom update released.
For the same reasons, if I were a betting man I would say it wont work on the X50v because it hasnt had the AKU2.0 update.
THanks and prove me wrong :)

AKU 2.0 update is not required
keep in mind, Dell Axim X51v has not had SKU2.0 update released

Well, neither the X50, nor the X51v have AKU2, and it does work on the x51v (I don't have an X50 to tr y that), but I can vouch for the x51v.
Hm, I get the whine issue with TCPMP, WMP, and pocketmusic. One interesting surprise I did find though was that the only button on the logitech headphones I have did work as AVRCP in windows media player. Unfortunately, TCPMP does not support AVRCP on any PDA.

It apears to be req for the phone OS verision. Perhaps it works after all for the X50s !!!!
Good callout on the X51v. I forgot what a rom release feels like for the X50v
The alltell, telus and verizion roms are immune to the patch from what Ive read.
Only the sprint with AKU2

Well, the whine bugs me less than the quality issues of the widcomm stack so I'll use the MS stack when I'm listening to music and widcomm when working with my phone and PC. It is simple enough to switch between them :)
Thanks to mingkee for the awesome find.
