Well the Plantronics 590A doesn't work with this fix. I get to hear sound for about 3 to 5 seconds and then silence. I would close out of the player program (eg, Media, Mort, TCPMP, etc...) to get to main desktop, then relaunch the media program and then I get to hear it for another 3~5 seconds...
I even performed HARD reset, lost ALL settings/software in the hopes that maybe there was a conflict, no such luck... At least the UNIVERSAL external DONGLE still works....
Can someone compile a list of known working stereo headsets for this Tornado driver as of 5/6/2006? I only know that the Logitech headsets work and I know for sure the Plantronics 590 doesnt...

Have you tried the platonics with the widcomm hack ?? Does that work?
Can anyone please help me, i asked 2 times with no response,
Can someone just take time out of their busy schedule to help me.
Thanks
addictisatit, I also have the IOGEAR headphones and I too am getting the "helecopter" effect.
I paired my x51v with a friends Logitec Bluetooth headphones and it streams music with NO helecopter effect. I switch back to the IOGEAR hedphones and the helecopter effect comes back. I switched between headphones a couple of times and the Logitec ones work perfect and the IOGEAR was always the same helecopter effect.
I think the IOGEAR headphones are the problem. I've suspected since the day that I first got them, they were a piece of junk. I am pretty sure of it now.
I am going to return the IOGEAR headphones.

I'm using the iTech BlueBrand, working fine with this patch and the Widcomstack, no helicopter effect or whatever, just very few skips (about one in 10min), qualitiy is good.

I guess the widcomm threads are getting too big for ppl to remember... anyone once again, I will re-iterate that the Plantronics 590A works with the widcomm stack... been using it for a week already...
Plantronics 590A rocks!

Yes, I can confirm the Widcomm stack works perfectly with the Plantronics Pulsar 590.

Thanks Symphony. I am still on the Widcomm stack with the latest patch allowing HSP/HFP in addition to other profiles (AS, A2DP, OBEX, ...) however the latest fix gave me some problems such my A2DP Plantronics 590 stops after 10-20 mn. iTech S38 skips every 2 secs...
Room for improvement still!

Has anyone tested the iCombi AH10 bluetooth headphones with this? Have you had any success?
I'm wondering the same thing. I've tried the widcomm version 37 which you can download at this link. After I did everything in the install notes in that file but before I did a soft reset after importing the new registry file I applied this patch at this link and then this patch at this link and copied the file in hfphsp/windows to the device's /windows directory. Then did the soft reset. But I still get skipping every 7-30 seconds. Anyway, those are the current instructions for the widcomm patch for anyone else who wants to try it. The tread here.
I've also put HTC_Tornado_A2DP.zip online for anyone who needs it in case the other link goes down. My server isn't going down unless swat breaks in.
nemattoad thanks for the info on how to pair the logitech headset to the x51v.
Now I need to figure out how to get applications to send the sound to it. Even though the pairing is complete I do not get any sound. How do I listen only on the headphones, and not the internal speaker?
BTW, thanks for everyone's help. I know these are newbie questions, but I am one, I can't help it. Thanks!
