Hide or Move the Start & Status Bar in WM2003 SE2

Hi,

I'm using pocket plus and have shortcuts to most of my applications and don't really use the start bar. And I've unselected all in NEW menu at the bottom status bar.

Is it possible to remove or hide/unhide the start and status bar. I tried looking at the setting but did not found a way to do that.

To me both these bars are eating up valuable screen space, some application like mapopolis and TCPMP have options to remove the startbar, but others apps don't.

Thanks

Regards

Sajid

sajidazmi, I've never seen a global type of "hide/show" option for the header and lower toolbar. I know that when I am making programs for Windows Mobile/Pocket PC I can do things to hide those items within my program. Just like Mapopolis does, but beyond that I think you are out of luck.

You could change your PDA into "True VGA mode" (using OzVGA or other programs) to minimize the appearance of the header and lower toolbar. But for me everything is just a little too small when in that mode.

Maybe developers just need to give more options for us users who want to utilize the full space of the screen. Maybe one day.
