Finally got it to work for me!

I had been able to connect to my WPA-TKIP network (LinkSys Router) using Odyssey. My LinkSys Router was configured to NOT broadcast my SSID.

After upgrading to A12, I went ahead in installed the WIFI patch that Ibelieve came out in October '06. Then the wireless connection to my WPA-TKIP network never worked again...Oddessey would say that it was waiting on keys and then bounce back to looking for an access point.

I removed the WIFI patch and now it connects reliably, as before!!!

I've got an X50V with the latest (cough choke err..latest ancient) ROM for WM2003.

I use WPA/TKIP PSK successfully with a Buffalo Airstation WBR2-G54 very often and
it usually works fine.

After some examination of the "vanilla WiFi connection settings" I couldn't see
any possible way to make it work with WPA/TKIP PSK mode; I didn't even recall
coming to the conclusion that the "vanilla wifi settings" even SUPPORTED anything
other than "Open System" and "WEP".

So I set up the Odyssey client for WPA-TKIP-PSK, found my SSID in the
list, created a configuration for it selecting WPA-TKIP-PSK, entered my key,
and it works beautifully except for the "extra" memory Odyssey client takes up
I suppose.

Sorry if this is rather belated but I have a similar current problem. I have high WPA-PSK encryption. I couldnt get on the network so I disabled it. Got onto the internet fine . I looked at the Odyssey Client and decided to give that a go. The WPA doesnt take my number of digits!! Am I missing something here? Do you need to turn the WLAN utility on to use Odyssey? Not sure if I am doing this right.Do I really have to drop to WEP?
Any advice appreciated.
Thanks
