I could never really figure out why I'd want to be able to run Midlets on my PPC. My phone runs them just fine.

I have a motorola v635 and I have some where around 300 midlet games for. I'd rather just play those on my v635. Opera Mini is a real good app... for my phone, but as for my PPC I'm sure there are better options out there then a midlet browser.

I do not know these answers, but I'm glad Menneisyys is writing up a "How-To" just incase I figure it out one day.

I installed opera mini 2.0 advanced using ibm j9 (5.7.2 cab)

and it works just fine on my UT starcomm 6700 (HTC apache)

does the new version of this software have any hardware button support? if not ill stick with the older version

I hadn't messed with this for a while after trying out gmaps and finding it so unbearable slow as to be unusable. I checked the IBM website and found a version 6.1.1 of J9 dated 12/06 and installed it. Eureka! Gmaps now runs very nicely on my X51.
