Anybody got any suggestions on a bluetooth headset that will work with my X51V and my smt5600?

Headphones or headset? Headphones are stereo and made for music. Headsets are mono and made for phone. All I have is headsets.
I have a Motorola HS850, their top of the line, that does OK. It does have some echo and a little distortion. So, I have ordered a Jabra 250V which I'm sure is 100% better. The Jabra has an earbud so sound is funneled directly into the ear. The Motorola just sits against the ear so the sound needs to be turned up leading to distortion and echo. The Motorola also fits loosely. I think most people who have tried both would go with the Jabra. I will get the Jabra in a day or so and may update this. But from everything I hear (no pun intended) I'd say go with the Jabra 250V, on Ebay for about $40. Make sure it's the V model that has vibrate for calls.
Also, don't rely on "Professional" reviews for these things. Those don't mean squat. Check out the User reviews instead.

Ahhhh, just got the Jabra 250V.I'm istening to the DroneZone (shoutcast.com) radio station as I type this. It sounds terrific. The Jabra 250V fits like a glove and doesn't feel as if it would fall off at all. I feel as if I could jog, run, or do anything and it would stay on. The ear bud comes in different sizes (several included) and I choose a large one to drown out unwanted noise. It inserts into the ear and makes it very easy to hear, with lower volume than the Motorola.
It is slimmer and more flexible than I thought it would be.
I haven't noticed any echo, and there shouldn't be any with this configuration. Distortion and crackles are at a minimum
It scared the bejesus out of me when I first put it on and tried to pair. It started to vibrate pretty radically and freaked me out! You arn't going to miss a call I can tell you that. Perhaps there is a way to turn that down a little, I haven't got that far.
I paired with my phone (Cordless Uniden) and my Laptop. The next trick will be the Widcom stack for the Axim which now supports headsets.

I like the Jabra 250V better than the Motorola HS850.

FYI - The Plantronics 590A sports double duty as Headphones and as HEADSET!!! I know there are a few members on this forum who own the 590 but I'm not sure if they have a BT phone paired as well...

... This was an extremely pleasant discovery today!!! :D

I also have a Sony S710A which I originally paired up a few weeks ago before I the "WIDCOM" fix for the X51V, just to play around with the headset to make sure it worked and then I promptly put the entire unit away.

However, I whipped out the 590 headphones and happily applied the 0.38 Widcom fix and I'm listening to my MP3 tunes with no issues. Suddenly my phone rings, my 590a pauses the muic in X51V (note, I said pause not MUTE), and then I hear a ring tone in the 590a. I click on the phone button and I'm connected to my call...

... as I hit the phone button on the 590a to disconnect the call, the X51V starts to play the music, right where it was paused and didn't miss a note!!! ;)

1. Plantronics 590A are expensive $$$$ @ $200.00 (cheaper on Ebay of course)
2. Transport controls (Play, Pause, Skip track forward & Skip track backward) only works in Windows Media player, I tried it with a few others with no success although I was able to hear sounds
3. Full sized headsets, for you fashion mavens out there, you might not like this design

Enjoy!
