Screen doesn't look as sharp!

Hello, I am a new guy, I haven't tinkered with these things since the Palm V days. I wanted to try out the MvRTrueVGAx51v True VGA application so,
I did a manual install, didn't like having to squint at text only 1/120th of an inch tall so I removed the MvRTrueVGAx51v file. It was listed in the Remove programs index on the Axim. The other file Sdkcerts installed but I can't find it in the Remove programs list. Also, I would like to undo what was changed in the registry. The Axim screen does not look as opaque and sharp as before the patch.
It could be, it's just my eyes. Also, if I do a Hard reset do the files and registry entries revert back to their unmodified state. I have installed a few programs recomended here but no critical personal data any WARNINGS before doing a Hardrest or is it even necessary.

Just a guess, but you might want to see whether adjusting the "ClearType" setting changes things. Settings -> System-> Screen -> Cleartype if I remember :)

A hard reset will completely erase the PDA and return it to the state when you first had it (note all personal files and settings will be removed and replaced with the default OS install).
