Exclamation WATCH OUT!! BlueSoleil incompatible release

DO NOT UPGRADE TO NEW 2.1.3.0 BlueSoleil IVT Corporation BT soft

Hey guys,
just want to give you heads up.. I have x51v and BlueSoleil BT software. I upgraded today from:

2.1.2.0 Release 060301 to 2.1.3.0 and the Active Sync via BT stopped working ( the software didn't find the Active Sync on the port, even with the "trick" )

I had to downgrade back to 2.1.2.0..

Maybe it is just me, but to save you time, make sure you have some spare time to fix the BT Active Sync connection if something goes wrong while upgrading..

I have Billionton bt2.0 USB (CSR bluecore 4 based, Toshiba stack)
I just make sure async employs correct bt COM port, both host and axim
I don't encounter problem with X51v

yeah you don't but some do. especially with bluesoleil.. everything works on the previous releases, the upgraded one doesnt. of course i match the ports... but it is just not working..

I had the same problem. I couldn't get it to connect either.

Hmmm I'm running BlueSoleil 2.1.3.0 rel 060429 and I have x50v on WM5 with Widcomm v038 and BT AS works fine..

i'm sorry but I have to disagree, I updated my bluesoleil tonight and it works fine

ok when trying to connect via activesync I had to manually open activesync on my computer , select 'connections' and recheck the 'serial port option' as it had mysteriously unchecked itself

can I suggest that everyone here tries this - you will also have to re-pair your devices - and then right click on pda icon within the bluesoleil software and make sure you are connected - you will then have to enter passcodes etc

hope this helps someone and please don't start threads by having a go at software just because you can't get it to work - ask for help first - this site will probably come up with the answer! if it doesn't THEN you can have a go at the software ;)
