Microsoft Previews Windows CE 6 Operating System

Isn't Crossbow supposed to be WM5 SE? Hopefully Dell will offer an upgrade. I'm hoping that a small upgrade from WM5 to WM5 SE won't cause too many problems.

Since Crossbow is not a signficant OS change from the current WM 5.0 but instead adds feature sets, many people have classified it an OS update as opposed to an upgrade. Similar to what WM2003SE was to WM2003.

Nobody knows. Even if Dell does offer an upgrade, it likely won't be for free.

So. Let's come out with a brand new product and sweep the previous problems under the rug and forget about them and charge people more money. Yep, sounds like Microsoft all right.

Sure they will. They'll just release a completely non-working upgrade then offer a device that almost supports it flawlessly. They have to be consistent. ;)

They won't support the X30,but I like the look of WM2003SE.I really want persistent storage,though.

no runescape?i would enjoy playing runescape on my X30!
