well it's not like dell is going to offer an wm6 upgrade anyway....
Sure they will. They'll just release a completely non-working upgrade then offer a device that almost supports it flawlessly. They have to be consistent. ;)
Based on the discussion of a new kernel (Yamazaki) in the article, this sounds like Win CE 6 is Photon which is slated to be in Mobile devices sometime in Q1/Q2 2008 as opposed to Crossbow which is expected in devices in Q1/Q2 2007.

Just apply the activesync fake server trick "again" and we will be ok, lol. Oh and don't forget to update with A0X so that it might have a psychological "snappy feel" effect. Bluetooth is going to be crippled again until beemer and mikelspikel can make widcomm work on the CE06.

I wonder if Win CE 6 will be the last OS for Pocket PCs? Hopefully we will have something like the Origami as our PDAs instead... Am I asking for too much?

Isn't Crossbow supposed to be WM5 SE? Hopefully Dell will offer an upgrade. I'm hoping that a small upgrade from WM5 to WM5 SE won't cause too many problems.
