I have been thinking of updating to OS-Win5.0 for my Axim X50v. From what I see and read. I don't gain much and perhaps more heartache than I need.

I would appreciate any of your comments or suggeastions (good or bad).

If you like playing/tweaking/problem solving then wm5 will keep you busy longer than any other ppc game ;)

If you use your axim to do stuff with then I wouldn't bother

Works great on teh X51v as long as you do not need BTstack to be perfect.

if you use bt a lot on X50, DO NOT change OS to WM5

Each to their own. I sugest you try the upgrade - along with the tweaks/patches found on the forums - and see what you think . you can always downgrade....

2 main gain on WM5 are presistent memory and virtual one-hand operation (except you hit 2 soft keys and X
but you'll lose some software compatibility, some bt function, and possible bugs (found a new bug on WMP, unable to press play once I get disconnected by error)
