Transferring Recorded Audio

Hey guys! I just recently purchased my Axim X51 and I’m very pleased with it so far.

I've recorded a few audio notes using the default program and now I'm trying to transfer these files to my desktop. I can see the files from my desktop computer but am unable to copy them over. I'm not even able to play them in Windows Media Player on my PC.
Does anyone know what I'm doing wrong?

Thanks

Try using notem, if its wm5 compatoble. It records in mp3, which is a lot better.

Welcome to AximSite :)

Did you record the files into individual WAV files, or inside a PWI file? If the former, the desktop must be able to play them. If the latter, you must use my embedded audio extractor tool ( http://www.pocketpcthoughts.com/foru...c.php?p=351079 ).

BTW, why don't you use a better sound recorder? THere're many of them; please check out http://pocketpcmag.com/blogs/menneis...corderApps.asp for a full roundup.
