Groupwise, PDA Connect, Activesync, and my x51v

I am kind of new at this. I am switched to Groupwise from Outlook and just downloaded Groupwise PDA connect 7.0. Whenever I connect my x51v to the computer activesync pops up and gives me an error message regarding outlook. It seems that when I downloaded Groupwise, my outlook went haywire. It synced my information and seems to work well, but I have a constant little red exclamation point on the activesync icon and it tells me that attention is required. Is there any way to resolve the activesync problem or do I just work around it.
