Resco is what is use, and it's does the job.
Total Commander is another, and it's free.
Hope that helps.

Actually, this only works one way - copying from host to Axim. If you want to copy from Axim to host, then you will need to set up an ftp server on your Axim. (Both Total Commander and Resco have ftp capabiliies, but I think they are only as clients.)
And yes, when WORD saves in Main Memory, it's in the My Documents of Main Memory. (You can have My Documents in other locations though.)
I can not seem to copy across the wifi link. I mean there does not seem to be a way to copy a file from my CF card to //host/
Is this possible? I currently have to cradle the axim to move things back and forth across the link. I dunno, maybe I am doing something wrong.
Also, when word saves something out to main memory, that is my documents, right?
Many tanks.

Hmmm... you may want to read about Wi-Fi p2p connections for this to properly configure. Then, you'll be able to access shared directories not only over ActiveSync but also traditional p2p connections (incl. Wi-Fi). Let me know if that's you want and I collect the necessary links to the tutorials that explain this.

That would be great! Thank you.
I have always had a interest in p2p but have not known where to start on it.

I look forward to reading the tutorials.

I've linked several tutorials in the first chapter of the Definitive Multiplayer PPC Game Roundup (the first chapter exclusively discussses connectivity issues and topologies).
