Activesync replacement

Are there any Activesync replacements available?
With my Palm I had a freeware program that made installing very easy. Just right click the file you wantr to install and tell it to install to card or main memory (I forget the name of it as I haven't used the Palm since I upgraded to my v50). I'd love some thing like this for my Axim.

What's wrong with the ActiveSync-based program installer? It's very simple - you just start the installer executable on the desktop and everything is done automatically.

I agree. In the main, ActiveSync is nearly as good as the standard Palm installer. but that's as far as it goes. In all other departments ActiveSync is an awful bit of software compared to the Palm Hotsync.

I've not yet found a replacment for Activesync that does the trick for me, or that I can use in the work environment (servers, exchange. IT rules etc) and at home.
