Will stock charger work with international voltage?

The charger says 100-240V, which leads me to believe that it should work off of pretty much any voltage around the world just by using a plug adapter (no transformer). Can anyone confirm this?

can't confirm, but when I take my laptop to Denmark, all I need is the plug converter ; it also supports up to 240v. From there, I usually just charge my axim via usb (overnight).

If it says 100-240, you are good to go. That is true with any power adapter.
