X51v Annoyance 001 - Email

Hi,

I am getting frustrated with the email program that comes with WM5. Is there a good replacement for it?

One problem I havent been able to solve is that closing an email message doses the application. that is. it doesn't take me back to the email list as expected.

Am I doing anything wrong here?

Did you Webis Mail? I use it, and it's pretty solid program.

No, just the standard app. I'll do a search. Thanks!

Okay, I re-read your first post, and it sounds like you have Wisbar or something similar installed. What happen is it close the application, instead of minimizing it.

If that's the case, you can setup Wisbar not to close the application, but just minimize it.

Hope that helps, good luck.

Thanks. yes I was running an application that closed all applications when exiting.

Now, a related question is how do you access a minimised application? Is there the equivalent of a windows task bar? thanks again!

Yes. Again, if you're using WA2, you can click the running task drop down list, and pick whatever program is running and pick it.

Tell us what program you are using, and will make it easier to pin point the problem.
