Here is my obstacle. My password to logging into my Dell X50 contains
capitalized letters, numbers and an extra character. LAst night I decided
to use the Large FOnt keyboard because this 46 year old dad has a little trouble seeing. Anyhow, when I went to login this morning, I noticed that the LF keyboard does not contain the SHift key which allow me enter the password. I cant find any examples of Dell grafitti on the web, and Dell support has no idea what to do except a "hard restart" which I dont want to do. If I buy a Axim portable keyboard, I have to install a device driver first.
Any ideas how to get my password in? Any place where there are examples of Dell grafitti?
When you're using the large keyboard if you slide your stylus over the letter it will be capitilized. I'm not sure if I put that qwquite right but do not hard-reset.
Update: Slide your stylus up the letter for Shift+key functions.

I dont see how sliding it creates a Large Cap letter. I slide my stylus over it
It has to be in an upward direction. Start at the bottom of the letter and slide up.

Thanks, but its just not working. I start at the bootom of the "key", slide upwards, and the password is still not being recognized. As a matter of fact, it see,s like the Enter key isnt working now. My X50 just sits there.
Update: Disregard. I'm trying to duplicate your problem on my X50v and I now know you cannot get to option when it's waiting for a password.
The reason I'm saying to use the upward guesture is that when the Large Key keyboard doesn't show the shift key that means guestures are activated.
LEts See if I get locked out as well.

Unfortunately I just did my test and got in with no problems. The password I used was Ss12345. What are the extra characters in your password? Maybe the gestures aren't where you think they are for special characters.
