Connecting alert bubble. Can it be disabled?

Right now, I have the perfect set up for myself: Tmobile unlimited data plan, dell axim x51v, bluetooth enabled moto v330, emoze direct push service. Love this as it allows me to have 90% of a smartphone with out giving up the power of my pda.

HOWEVER, when it needs to reconnect to my phone to establish an internet connection (after timing off from inactivity), I get the very anoying "Connecting to *Your connection name here* Dialing yada yada yada". Furthermore, if it cannot make the connection for what ever reason (I am using the phone for a call, phone has no service, etc etc) then I get the "cannot connect " error bubble.

Can these two alerts be disabled with out disabling the connecting activity? I dont need to see them ever. If it connects, the connection icon changes to show me it connects. If it doesnt connect, it doesnt change.

Is there perhaps a registry change I could make? Or a software that will allow me to turn those off?

You can disable it in active sync:
file -> connection settings -> Open ActiveSync when my device connects -> disable...

I need something that will stop the connection alert bubble on the device, not opening active sync on my pc.

I think what you are after could be found at
Start / Settings / Sounds & Notifications / Notifications Tab / then select Connection as event and disable. Hope I understood your question.
