Keyboard spacebar always gives 2 spaces!

When using the on screen keyboard my Axim always gives me 2 spaces when I tap the spacebar. Is this a known bug? Is there a fix as it's driving me mad! Thanks

You don't have it set to automatically put a space in after you complete a word do you?

Are you using the Opera internet browser? This always gives me double spaces.

I have it set to put spaces after words, but I don't often use the on screen keyboard. When I do, though, I have no problems with the space key...

Opera puts in 2 spaces but when you look at the posted message, it has only single spaces, probably due to the html.

I think vBulletin removes the extra spaces to save database space.

Correction: apparently, vB saves the text verbatim; the extra spaces must be removed when the html is rendered.
