Which do you leave behind?

There are times when you it is impossible to sling around your Axim and your cell phone for whatever reasons. Hence, you end up having to leave one behind.
Which do you leave behind?

Well for me I leave my cell phone as it is of much less use to me.

Because of my job, I need to be reachable at all times. So, if I absolutely have to leave one behind, it is the Axim.

Yet another reason that I am really hoping that Dell comes out with a converged phone/PDA. That way, I don't have to choose!

i never have to leave anything behind. my axim goes in my laptop case with my laptop and my tablet. if i do need to leave soemthing behind it is the charger and instead i take my other battery.

I never go anywhere without my cell phone. many times when I'm going out and I know I won't need my axim, or I know that there is a risk of breakage, I leave it at home or in my car.

one of the reasons i don't have a combined device is so that i can leave my axim at home when i'm going out somewhere.

Phones can take a hell of a lot more punishment than pdas

I agree in that phones take more of a beeting than a ppc, but I think that is in part because of the ppcs large (breakable) screen. Also because the technology inside of a ppc is different than in a cell in that it has much more circutry, and silicon/metal parts to be broken where a cell phone has more plastic and doesn't need all the computing power. Therefore if I am going somewhere that there is a risk of something getting broken the cell goes and the ax stays - plus which is cheaper to replace if it does get broken?

Oh! I thought you were gonna say, the house is on fire and you can save your Axim or your wife.
I was gonna say my Ax, 'cause my wife has legs and my Ax doesn't.
And if I was going to work and had to leave one behind, it sure as heck would be the phone, because I have Skype and WiFi at work. As a matter of fact, I could for any location that has WiFi. In fact, I could set a reminder to call on my Ax and even use a regular ol' pay phone.
Still, I like my cell, and it has BT and I can get online with it. I never surfed the web from the phone itself, just connect from my Ax.

I only wear slacks, pants or jeans that have four pockets. That way I always, always take my pda (no matter what it is) and my phone (no matter what it it) with me. I do not want them combined since I use my pda as a pocket pc first and then as a pim manager.

Since I usually have to carry a diaper bag everywhere, I take both. What's two more things in my 500 lb bag???

They work best if you clean the ax first, then the baby butt. The other way is just gross

I either have both or nothing. With the magnesium case, I am not worried about my Axim being damaged, I am usually more worried about my cell phone. If I am doing an activity where having them on me is not convenient/possible(swimming, sports, outdoor work, etc), I will usually leave them both together with my keys, wristwatch, wallet, etc. If theft is not an issue, I will usually set my cellphone nearby so I can hear it if it rings, that is the only time the cell would take precedence. But my Axim is never far off.

It very rarely happens, but if I had to leave one behind, unfortunately, it would be my Axim. As long as I had my cell phone, I could always call my wife and have her get whatever info I need out of my Ax.
