newbie question on CF access - no flame please

Ok i'm a newbie with PDA so i'm excited. I tried to search the forum but I can't find anything.

There are a couple things i'm trying to do.

1) After Sync using USB, do I just unplug if the sync is complete? I dont see a stop/eject option anywhere.

2) is there a way to delete the cache (temporary files) that stored on the PDA after I surf the web?

Thanks for all your help in advance. Sorry what are probably easy questions.

Welcome and congrats I hope you love the Axim.

1. You just pull it off the cradle when done no problem.

2. Im assuming your useing PIE (Pocket internet explorer), so delete them just open PIEand goto menu/tools/options then click the "Memory" tab and click "Delete Files" that will clear the PIE cache. You can also move the PIE cache to a SD or CF card if you like.

Thanks for the promp response clenterror. One more thing I find annoying is that everytime I open new programs and click on the "x", it doesn' really close, but continue to run. I'd have to go to Memory --> running programs --> and stop the program because the program memory runs out quickly (49.47 MB total). Any tip on how to close the program directly as I'm the screen? thanks
