Canadian resident looking for Axim X51V

Does anyone know any good deals?

I've been out bid and ebay numerous times. I thought about reburished; however, am not sure if warranty will cover Canadian resident. The $529 on dell.ca is too much for me. Regretuflly, they do not sell refurbished items to Canadian residents.

I used to own an IPAQ 1910 which I sold last week. I had some questions also.

Also, looking for a mini keyboard which Dell sells for $129, does anyone know something compatible that is cheaper?

I have a motorola V551, any know know if I can use that as a modem in Canada?

Please let me know, I want to join the Axim club.

Dell frequently has it's "Dell Deal of the Day" where the Axims are marked down to as low as $399 cdn.

I bought mine at that price back last December.

If you can hold out for one of these sales you can save a few bucks on a brand new Axim. Although, there is no way to know when the next "Del of the Day" is going to come.

I bought mine for $379 last November on dell.ca during one of their frequent sales. My friend bought one a month ago for $349 during another sale.

Just be patient and keep looking.

Wow, I feel cheated. I paid ~$374US for mine a couple weeks back. Oh well. Heh, my Dell Premium Bluetooth Keyboard (or whatever it's called) was only $69US.

I paid 525$ for everything, although the deal before tax was $499 at the time. I sure should of waited :P.

I was out of town the past few days, but did notice that dell.ca had a one day sale on Tuesday the X51 520 MHz for only $299. I'd prefer the X51V.

Thank you for the advice. The other two models are onsale, maybe the X51V will go on sale soon or maybe this Tuesday.

I saw an X51V advertized on the Dell Boxing Day special (10 Days of Christmas) for about $349. That is the best price I have seen and was what I had paid for my X50 mid the year previous. I'm still using the X50 as it does all that I need it to do.

Having bought two laptops and my Axim from Dell I have found it best just to lurk around their adds and wait for the price to drop.

If you really can't wait you can certainly call Dell.ca and haggle with them. They will give you a discount ... but it probably won't get anywhere near 379 unfortunately.

I tried today, the guy tried to sell me the Axim x51 saying it was on sale. The most he would be budge was 10% off. I"ll wait it out. The price can't go anywhere but down. I checked redflagdeals and last year they had a 10 day sale in June.
