Firewall on Winxp

Hi
after I formated my PC, My axim x51v can't sych with my new winxp any more,
when I click on windows firewall it show me:
"windows firewall setting cann't be displayed because the associated service is not running"
when I click yes for starting the firewall sevice, it shows me:
"Windows cann't start the windows firewall/Internet connection sharing(ICS) service".
how to enable firewall service?
I use UDSL internet connection.
I have not any firewall installed yet.

Hi, for this type of question, ask the folks over at Protonic.com. I'm no expert at this, but try enabling it manually. Go to start>run> and type in "services.msc"
