Power of 51x

Does the dell Axim 51x represent the most powerful solid state computational device available? To my knowledge anything more powerful invariably has hard drives, fans, disc drives etc. Can you think of an exception?

Well, a flash-based PC is about to come out, known as the JackPC. You just plug it into a wall socket and all its connectors are on the front.

As for the x51v, it has the fastest CPU on the market, as well as the best video card for PDAs.

You can get a solid state tablet PC, which uses a mobile processor and has a bare minimum of moving parts but is prohibitively expensive as large enough solid state drives are very costly. Can't name any off the top of my head tho.

In terms of cost the Axim is very good for pure power and versatility, it may not be the most powerful thing you can get but it is the most cost effective.
