Axim X51V Switch From Portrait to Landscape

Hi All.

I just started using and Axim X51V after many years with a Palm. One thing I noticed that newer Palm devices have is an icon to switch from potrait to landscape mode.

Does WM5 and the X51 have an easy way to do this besides going to the settings menu?

The Axim does not come with a button already assigned to switch the screen orientation. However, you can remap an existing button to do this (Start>Settings>Personal>Buttons). Many people re-map the record button on the left side of the unit, since given where it is located, it is easy to create recordings without realizing you are doing that.

Yep! There is also a program that can do that as well. I personally used the Mail button for it, as the Home button is Voice Command and Record is BT switch, and WiFi switch is GPS.
