Soft Reset while Axim LOCKED

In case you were wondering, you CAN do a Soft Reset while your Axim is locked.

I had forgotten my Ax was locked and put it in the craddle to sync, which worked fine. After 60 seconds, my screen turned off, which it was supposed to do. I tapped on the screen to get it back, but nothing happened. I tried the soft keys as well as the buttons, and still nothing.

The sync had installed a new program, and when the screen did not come back on, I thought it was a software conflict, so I did a Soft Reset. Another 60 seconds, and my screen turned off again and would not respond to anything. Then I finally realized my Ax was LOCKED.

I haven't been in that boat yet, and hope I never will as long as you kind folks keep reminding of this "issue." ;)

Not running WM5, so I have not resorted to Hard Reset in order to solve the lock button conundrum yet.

Yup, done that only about twice when I was new to my x51. I never did anything more than a soft reset until I realized it was on.
