Can't move that item.

Okay, I'm going out of my mind here.

I'm trying to slim down my start menu, but there are a few items that I can't get rid of. Items like calendar, home, messaging, contacts, and help.

I use Wisbar Advance 2 and didn't see any options through that. Nor did I see anything with Tweaks2K2 or memmaid.

When trying to unclick those items, a pop-up box says it is unable to move that item.

Also there are duplicates within that menu list. 2 calendars, 2 contacts, 2 helps, 2 homes, 2 messagings

Anyone experience that? any ideas on how to solve... (w/o a hard reset?)

I've tried aligning the screen and soft-reseting a few times.

You can directly manipulate items in the start menu by using a file explorer and going to the \Windows\Start Menu\ folder.

Thanks. that did it! I don't know why I missed that one. I tried deleting from my PC connected via activesync and it didn't let me; but when I used the file explorer on the PDA itself, it worked.
